The last weekend of September 2007 was jam packed full o' fun for the Williamson trio!
On Saturday the 29th after mommy got off work we all headed out for the Italian American festival where mommy and daddy dined on some yummy sausage and peppers while we listened to an Italian band out of Detroit belt out some good Dego tunes while folks danced away.
After we filled our tanks we headed to the airport for the balloon glow. WOW was that cool! There were 90 hot air balloons that lit up the sky and after that Ella enjoyed her first fireworks display. It was a good thing mommy put her thinking cap on before we left the house and packed her jammies, cuz little LaLa was out like a light before we left the parking lot. :)
Sunday afternoon we went on a lunch cruise on the Belle of Louisville. This is a large paddleboat that was built in 1914. We could not have asked for more beautiful weather or a more well behaved little girl. It was a great day, and a fun filled weekend of Williamson family firsts!
