Can we go yet??

Was a whirlwind trek across the heartland (hahaha, Scott cracks up at that) to catch one of Tyler's football games. We left early Thursday morning and drove straight through to FC and stayed with Aunt Betty and Uncle Doug.

The girls played at the lake on the playground equipment and fed the ducks.
Had a minor could have been major mishap. Maya pulled a rather huge mirror down and it shattered big time. Luckily it only got her arm. THANK GOD it did not fall completely on her. Sorry Aunt Betty and Uncle Doug! :(

Then the next morning it was off to Lincoln to Aunt Barb and Uncle Juicy's for  lunch, then to Omaha to meet new cousin Joss and see Jacoby. After an a hour or two it was time for the reason for the trip... TO SEE TYLER PLAY FOOTBALL!!!

We chose this game because Ty's team played the Omaha South Packers, the team that Jacoby and Joss's dad, Jack, coaches. Well, it was kind of a blowout with Tyler's team winning something like 41-0.

We then treked it to cousin Barry & Whit's house for the night. Barry took me to get my RUNZA fix for a late dinner and then off to bed.

Saturday Barry made a delicious brunch and everyone from FC, Lincoln and Omaha came over to enjoy. I took Tyler for a quick shopping trip, and then some of us went to Vala's.

Barry again made a wonderful steak dinner and then we were on the road to stay at a hotel in St. Joe.

Got back around 9 pm last night.... WHEW!!!!!

WE LOVE YOU TYLER!!!! XOXOXOXOXOX

See you all at thanksgiving...cause we love you all SOOOO MUCH we are willing to do it all again next month, a 12 hour drive in a van with 2 children under 4....Now that says love... for real.... do you have any idea??? LOL

Day 3 of home school

I am soooooo impressed with Ella. We are just 3 days into home school and she can already make a capital E in starting to write her name. She still has to work on the lla part, but at this rate I think she will have it down pat by Friday!

Currently Maya is in time out for eating her pencil eraser (several warnings first) and Ella is making a book about the letter X. One of the pictures in her X book is a fox. She said 'just like fox news!' Haha. I'm sure her daddy would be proud. We just have to cut and then staple!

One other newsworthy note is Ella stayed dry all night and Maya peed in the potty again today with Daddy! YAY big girls :)

P.S. On Friday the 3rd as I anticipated Ella did indeed write her full name by herself!
