Grandparents visit from Missouri

Random things

Scott and I got I-Phones when they came out on 10/14. The funniest thing is that I have never had a smartphone and really don't know what I am doing. 

Then here is lil' Meems not even 3 and a half quite yet and she just picks the thing up and started downloading movies! Yes that's right. I have no idea how she figured out the steps to do it, she also downloads and plays several games. Whoa! I think we may have a techie genius on our hands. Look out Steve Jobs! (RIP)

Ella on the other hand is our creative genius. Check out the beautiful rose she made me out of play-doh! Give that girl just about any medium and she cranks out some of the most creative stuff. How about that superhero cape she made for Maya that she was donning while playing the piano. I am starting a portfolio of some of her best stuff. She is always creating something magnificent!

Halloweeeeeen!!

We celebrated a few times this year.

The DeMaso's and our family went to Boo at the Zoo and saw lots of characters and collected some loot, along with the Ponsonoby family. We then did a trunk-or-treat with the same group a few days later and got tons of candy along with getting to see Daddy's old fire department he used to volunteer for.
We attended a halloween party where mom and dad dressed up like Things 1 & 2 from Cat in the Hat at the Brown home. The DeMaso family and Rebecca came along too.
Then on Halloween the Andrews family enroute from Boston to Nashville made a trick-or-treating pit stop at our home in Louisville. Kendall our next door neighbor came along too and helped to carry Maya who got pooped out in the end. Good times had by all.
