Maya

Maya has developed a new thing that seems to be sticking around.

She is the most petite little dynamo at 25 lbs 1 oz and 33 inches long. Whenever she is sitting no matter where she is, she has her legs straight and crosses her ankles. Too stinking cute.

She also dialogues along with familiar movies. Scott was watching 'The Princess and the Frog" with the girls today and Maya was repeating the lines along with the characters verbatim. :)

She talks quite clearly and has her own thoughts and ideas.

On Saturday the 26th at 6:00 pm we had a BBQ/fireworks party for Maya's 2nd birthday.

It was HOT HOT HOT!! A sticky humid mess. But the kids stayed cool in the slip and slide and had lots of fun.

The game was played Thursday the 24th at 6:00 pm. It was a hot, sticky evening but Ella did great. She was focused and did a great job paying attention to her coach and following directions. We were VERY proud of Ella. :D

The girls kept busy as I prepped the wall for our new mural. Looks like they had LOADS of fun.

Also a photo of our first batch of strawberries from our garden and some ducks came to visit one day and they got a treat of bread crumbs.

Memorial Day weekend

Sitting at a memorial day picnic with Scott and the girls, Ella on my lap. Other folks around the table. I look down to see that my darling angel, has me unbuttoned to my waist and is opening and shutting my outfit with gusto. Several times before I was aware.

Thank goodness for pretty bras :D

Latest antic

The newest trick when mommy and daddy are either in another room talking on the phone or visiting with friends who have stopped over, is to strip completely naked and pee on the playroom floor. Then they streak thru the house each blaming the other for who actually peed on the carpet.
