Ella Grace looses her 1st tooth!

This afternoon playing in the sprinkler it was wobbly

Determined to see the Tooth Fairy tonight!

Tiniest lil thing I have ever seen! So cute!

Ella was determined that this tooth was coming out tonight! It was a bit wobbly and probably if left alone would have come out in a week or so. We had a dentist appointment last Friday and he told her she would be around 6 before she looses her first tooth and that none of her teeth were loose. Guess she wanted to prove the dentist wrong! That was actually the first thing she said after she had me rip it from her jaw! LOL I kept asking are you sure you want to do this and does it hurt? She said no and was a brave lil soldier determined to be toothless tonight and get a visit from the ole tooth fairy. :)
I just informed the tooth fairy he needs to go to the ATM.

Today is international Womans Day!

My favorite valentines...

I had hand surgery on February 2nd on my left hand. Got my stitches out this morning, and my hand is doing great! I have the right hand operated on the 20th. It is so awesome to be able to feel my fingers again with out throbbing pain.

The girls have been hit with the flu bug so we spent Valentines eve at the Dr. office.

Maya has a yuckola case of pneumonia. No fun for any of us. Or any sleep!

Ella  has the stomach flu and cold flu, which seems to be coming under control.

Didn't do much but lay around today and get well. I made everyone chocolate chip pancakes for brunch and for dinner  a big pot of my famous chicken noodle soup.

Coffee talk...

We had parent teacher conferences today at Ella's school. 

 Scott and I met with Ms. Diane & she just raved about how wonderful Ella was to the point of almost being in tears. She said that she could not wait for this meeting, that she had been looking forward to it so much. 

Ms. Diane referred to Ella has her "go to person", that all of the teachers in the school just wished that they could have Ella in their class room.

Ella is academically beyond the preschool curriculum, is a helper, a leader, and just an all around class favorite. Ms. Diane said that she will miss Ella greatly when she goes off to kindergarten, but the good thing is that she will get to have Miss Maya in her place!

Maya has had some funny lines lately. After the blessing at my birthday dinner everyone had the opportunity to say something nice in my honor. After comtemplation, Maya said quite thoughtfully, "Mommy, I love you, and old people like to eat chicken!" ??? LOL ( we were having pasta & prawns)

Later that same evening she had a couple more funny ones after everyone else was fast asleep as my lil night owl was up past 1 am. 

At one point in my bed she leans over and licks my face and tells me I taste like a slice o' hooooonnnnnnnnney! ???

When taking her potty for the umpteenth time she points to a mole over her right  hip and tells me that's her bookmark and it means that she's purdy!! lol
