This afternoon Ella (4) wanted to watch cartoons during nap in our bed. I made her promise she would not get into anything and just relax. She promised. Went in to check on her and she had smeared desitin all over/in her nose, because it hurt. Really?!

Getting ready for bed, I glance down at Maya (2) who has crumbly black stuff smeared all over her cheeks and in her mouth/teeth. Alarmed I ask her whats that? She replies matter of fact, that its coffee. Where in the world would she have gotten coffee at 8 pm? Daddy emptied the grounds to set a pot for me @ 4 am and she got in the garbage and was eating them. GROSS! YUCK! I run a crazy house.

Maya (2) just stuck her gum up her nose and couldn't get it out. Nice. Gum is officially on hiatus at our house indefinately. :/

Ella flips out b/c I was threw her beloved unicorn pillow pet in the wash. The thing had dried snot all over it and frankly it was disgusting. Good thing she clarified things for me though. She informed me it was NOT snot but boogers. Apparently there's a difference. Now I know, and the unicorn will be coming out of the dryer in time for bed. Booger free! :D

Playing doctor with the girls, Maya (2) draws a picture on her magnadoodle (the x-ray) and tells me my problem is that I have "tiny brains" the rx? take this checker and call her in the morning. ( I kid u not) LOL    3.9.11
So that's my issue! Hey, I couldn't argue afterall she did show me the x-ray (her drawing) hilarious!!

Just got home from the Y with the girls and had my first OMG moment with my 4 yr old. A very obese woman leaving in front of us, and my daughter very loudly yells "hey look at those very fat legs!" Needless to say we had a chat on the spot about words and how they can heal or hurt. Thank goodness the woman was too far away to hear. (I hope) Ugggggghhh.

I am in the kitchen, when in bounds Ella Grace all excited and exclaims for me to come and see how beautiful she made her room. She was very happy and excited, thinking she had really done a good thing.


Ella is on an 'artist' kick and we have her drawings all over the house, and I am  starting a porfolio of some of her best work. They really are quite good if I say so myself. :)


Tyler pulled this stunt with his buddy Jacob at about the same age that Ella is now, so I am 'seasoned' in this sort of thing. My intial reaction was kind of a gasp and then a chuckle with a tad bit of being impressed at how cute it looked, but not wanting to give Ella or Maya the impression that it was ever ok to write or draw on anything other than paper. 


I tryed to affirm her and correct her without bursting her bubble too much, because she really was proud of herself and was saddened to know that it really wasn't ok to do. 
If you look closely you can see a bright yellow mark on the wall, that is the glue residue from where the wallpaper border used to be, before they ripped it off. Oh well, I try to make a cute house, I give up until they are older. LOL


Thank goodness for Mr. Clean majic erasers, that would take it off in no time. But hey, I planned on painting that room anyway in the near future, so I may just leave it up!

It has been awhile since I have last written. Christmas day to be exact. It has been on my mind to write, but we really had not taken any pictures nor has anything really noteworthy transpired since then, so we were on hiatus. :P

This week however it has finally warmed up to near 70! YAY! So today we got out our bikes and then headed over to the park for some fun in the sun (and dirt) It was a fun day, and we met lots of new friends. :)
