Hello!

Hard to believe that summer is slipping away from us. It is just now starting to get hot! The girls and I spent the afternoon today at the waterpark with our neighbor Kendall from next door. Kendall has been coming over a bit to learn how to babysit. She is 12 and hopefully we will have many years of childcare with her in our future, that is if the girls don't scare her. LOL
A few pictures that we find cute, Gracie and Meems watching Dora, playing the piano at a friends get together, going sailing with the babies in our living room, Maya feeding herself some yogert for the first time, the girls with the neighborhood crew enjoying some carrots that they just picked fresh from the garden, and last but not least, Scuba Ella.
Hope you have all enjoyed the season!

Whirlwind weekend

Whew! It is almost 7 am and I just returned from taking Tyler to the airport.

Did not sleep a wink last night. Tyler got in late on Thursday night and we have been ripping and running ever since.

A years worth of catching up is difficult to do in 2 days but we squeezed the most out of those 48 hours that we possibly could.

A good time was had by all, and it was a lot of fun for me to see the joy that the kids brought to each other and how much fun the girls had having their big brother around to wrestle with and chase them.

Enjoy the photos, I am going to try and relax a bit before the girls wake up, I can already hear Maya starting to coo.

Blessings and peace

Maya's 1st Birthday!

What a great day! We had so much fun.
Aunt Rachel came from NY for her God daughter's big day, and we had a few friends over as well.  Maya's main gift was a shiny red wagon, that you see them in. Also, she has started to take a few (5 or so) steps and daddy got a quick shot of that.
We had pizza, cake, ice cream, swimming, sand, swings and the best part FIREWORKS!!!!
Oh the kids LOVED it.
We got Maya her own Tinkerbell cake that she just kind of picked at. She could take it or leave it.
