What we have been up to

First of all, turn up the volume and enjoy the Mother's Day song I have chosen for all of my favorite mommies. Happy Day Ladies you deserve a good chuckle!

This post will have you wanting to refer back to previous posts.
You may remember when Ella was 13 months or so she had a lovely nap time project that had her ripping the border off of the wall. Ever since that day her crib has been pulled out from the wall so she can no longer reach the paper. Well as you can see the time has arrived that Mayas crib be moved out as well. (and no she is not crying because she got in trouble, she's crying because that is what Maya does when Mommy is not doing what she wants Mommy to do, HOLD ME NOW!!)

Daddy and a neighbor from across the street put up a new swing set for the girls and Ella is showing a couple of the tricks that she can do on  the slide. The next thing that is going to go in is a sand box. (Mommy can't wait!)

Remember the photos of the snowstorm we had in January? Well 5 months later the city FINALLY came and got all of the debris! YEAH!!!!! Ella and Daddy had a good time watching all of the big trucks, they were very noisy and totally cool!

Mommy is LOVING LIFE! I have new hours at the Y which has me home by 10 am.
LOVE IT!
I am working with the 4-5 year olds and if you know me you know that I love arts and crafts. Today the kids made Mother's day gifts and so I got to bring home a couple for my girls to do.

Happy Mother's Day weekend to all of the Mommies out there :)

How does your garden grow?

What a wonderful weekend. The weather was ideal, and as I sit here and write a cool spring breeze sails through the house. Ahhhhh spring. It's great (unless you have allergies, we seem to be doing ok)

So much was accomplished this weekend. Got the deck painted and ready to go, and planted some grass seed and flowers, everyone got in on it even baby Maya who is 10 months old today! Where does time go? I just want to freeze time as these family moments are so precious.

In one picture you will see how Ella is really starting to use her imagination. We have seen this start to develop this past week. She and her sister are making grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup on my tummy out of helicopters and grass. She even sent Maya to the store for the ingredients! Cute LOL :)

HOPPY EASTER!

It is a lovely Easter Sunday in Louisville. We spent the afternoon at the zoo and saw the Easter Bunny!
We would like to wish all of our friends and family across the miles a very happy day!

Just a quick note...

No photo to go with this quick tidbit.
Yesterday Scott the girls and I were out back enjoying the afternoon. Ella was baking chocolate chip cookies in a rock bed next to the drive way. No big deal it was cute watching her.
Later we came in to wash up and have dinner, Ella and Scott were to the back of me, as I was at the sink, so unfortunately I missed this, but I heard something hit the floor and bounce a bit.
Scott witnessed Ella shoot a pebble out of her nose! It was not that small either!
This child is something else. It is probably for the best that I didn't know she had rocks up her nose. Can't take your eye of her for a minute. Crazy thing is we were right there with her the entire time. Ella! :)

Never a dull moment

Greetings!!
It is always live on Wooded Glen. These brown eyed girls keep daddy and I hoppin'.
Check out Ella's  "band-aid". HAHA... lol :) She came out of the bathroom with her "band-aid" on and I cracked up. Daddy on the other hand, just kinda sighed and rolled his eyes. Guess you have to be a mommy to find these things amusing.
